Intent:

One of the least explored parts of our planet is the ocean. It remains vast and mysterious, yet its ecosystems are increasingly threatened due to man-made problems. Targeting the 7-11 age group, who are developing their sense of cause and effect, this exhibit offers guests opportunities to engage with real-world efforts to restore ocean ecosystems and spark wonder in its unexplored depths. Split into four nonlinear zones, each highlighting an aspect of the undersea world, guests can play through interactives in each zone to discover the ties between them and the salty world below.

Scope:

Develop an interactive exhibit concept that explores the natural world and helps guests consider their impact on it. Create interactives that allow for open-ended play and tie into your exhibit’s theme, while speaking to sustainability and natural resources.
